⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I’ll be honest — I was so skeptical about picking up Flawless. Everyone and their book bestie raves about Elsie Silver and her cowboy romances, and I kept thinking… is it really all that good? But since I’m fully in a contemporary romance mood right now, I decided to give it a chance anyway.
OH MY GOSH — I was completely wrong! I absolutely loved every single second of it. 🤠💛
This book had me laughing out loud so many times I lost count. One of my favourite things was how it references real things like Disney movies — it makes the whole story feel so familiar and relatable. It honestly feels less like reading a novel and more like peeking into someone’s diary, warm and real and totally unputdownable.
It’s such an easy, smooth read — perfect for curling up with. There are some sad, tender moments that pull at your heartstrings, but nothing too heavy or overwhelming; it balances emotion and lightness perfectly.
And the characters?! Chef’s kiss. 🤌 Summer and Rhett are beyond amazing — so well written, authentic, and completely likeable. Their dynamic is everything I love in a romance, and the way their story unfolds feels so natural. Even the side characters are brilliant; they bring so much personality and warmth, and really tie the whole story together like one big, happy family.
This is such an amazing piece of writing. I honestly didn’t expect to fall this hard for a small-town cowboy romance — but Elsie Silver has officially won me over. If you’re on the fence like I was: take the leap. You won’t regret it!
Love&Pages,
J💛
