Carolyn Arnold has such a fantastic writing style: detailed enough to draw you fully into the investigation, but cleverly crafted so you’re still left guessing what will happen next. That perfect balance is top-tier crime writing.
In Last Seen Alive, Amanda finds herself pulled into a complex case when Logan’s ex-wife Claire is found dead in his bed, still wearing her lingerie. Working alongside Trent, they dig deep into Claire’s past — and soon discover she was far from the person everyone assumed her to be.
Packed with constant twists and turns, it was the kind of book you just can’t put down. Every chapter made me want to keep turning the page to uncover the truth.
A solid, gripping 4-star read and another great entry in this series!
